This Hindi poetry is closest to my heart and it is written by P.K DHUTT.

I was really unaware of the culture of Mushaira and its impact until I went to Aligarh for my Schooling. There I heard P.K. DHUTT live for the first time, we had managed to secure a place between the stage and the audience who were seated on the chairs. While he was reciting this Kavita/Shayari, I started getting goosebumps and tears filled my eyes and as he reached the poem's pinnacle I felt a lump forming in my throat.
This Hindi Kavita is translated in English by a Sage person and DEAR FRIEND of mine --Paavani Singh.

This Shayari/Kavita impacted me so immensely that over a period of time it became a part of me. The only thing that I did not know was that It was only a matter of time before I would be performing this poetry amidst hundreds of people on the streets and on campuses.
