Slice and Dicing: It is used to see required data from the reporting.
Ex: If you have a data for one year, If you want to see only one or specific months, then we have
to slice the data.


Filters: These are used to restrict the data based on conditions/requirement
There are four different types of Filters
1. Report Level Filters
2. Page Level Filters
3. Visual Level Filters
4. Drill-Through Filters


Report Level Filters: It is used to apply filter for all the pages in the report.
When the business requirement demands to restrict the data for entire report, then make sure to
use Report Level Filters.


Ex: Create a report to show Unit Price for all the countries except France


Page Level Filters: It is used to apply filter for specific page in the report.
When the business requirement demands to restrict the data for any specific page, then make to
use Page Level Filters.

Ex: Apply a filter in the page (Price By Category) to show only Germani Data


Visual Level Filters: It is used to apply filter for specific visual in the page.
When the business requirement demands to restrict the data for any specific visual, then we can use
Visual Level Filters

Note: Keep two visuals in the "Price By State" (1-Prince By Subcategory, 2-Price By State)
Ex: Show Price By Subcategory for only "Cell Phones".
