If you want to be a consistent shooter you need to get the ball travelling in straight lines as much as possible.

Bringing the ball up the guide hand side of your body forces the ball to have to change direction, and any time it has to change direction you run the risk of making a mistake.

Use this drill to learn how to get the ball on the shooting hand side of the middle of your body!
