Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Forest River Salem travel trailer, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Lippert components ground control TT automatic trailer leveling system. Now, your ground control TT system is going to be the perfect solution for setup once you get to the campsite. Also, there's a nice option of the auto hitch feature. So once you hit Retract All, which we'll show you here in just a second, the coupler's going to go right back to where it was when you hit that auto level feature so you'll know that height's going to be appropriate.Basically, what this system does, we've got four landing pads that are going to come down that act as both the stabilizer and the leveler. So no longer do we have to back and forth trying to get up on leveling blocks to get everything situated that way. It's all going to be contained in one unit and really just going to hit one button or a couple series of buttons, and it's going to take care of it all for you.

Essentially, that frees you up to do other tasks associated with getting your campsite set up. You're not going to have to go around your camper four or five times, get all your stabilizers down, get all your levelers in place.So it can really save you a lot of time. Now, once you get to the site, you want to back into your spot of course. You want to unhook from your truck. The only thing we have to do that we had to do before is to chalk our wheels.

We don't want our trailer moving back and forth. At that point, you've really got three ways to control the system. We've got our touchpad here in the front. We've got our touchscreen inside. Then you can even pair it to a phone if you choose to do it that way.

To use our touch screen inside, we're going to hit our button there, wake the system up. You can see we've got myRV, and we've got leveling.Let's back out of there one screen. We can hit . get our how-to troubleshooting owner's manuals. It's nice.

All the information is going to be right here for you. Even a FAQ's down there. Then we go to Control Panel. It's going to give us the myRV and the leveling icon. Just hit Leveling. Once we get into this screen, we just hit that auto level. It's going to take care of it for us, get everything level. Once it's time to leave, we can go to Auto Hitch. That's going to retract everything, and it's going to get our tongue back where we started.We do have the option here to go to an auto retract and even a manual mode if you want to operate them independently, extend and retract it right there for you. Then we'll go back to the home screen here. Let's show you the other way. Now, on our touchpad, to activate it, we want to hold the up and down button for just a second, then release it. You can see we've got a little green light there. Then we'll hit Auto Level and let the system get to work. Now, the system is designed to lower our front landing gear.That's going to ground those out. Then you'll notice it's going to lift up on the jack once it's happy with where that's at. You can see the jack there starting to come up. Once our front jack is retracted, the front stabilizers are going to do a little bit more work. It's really depending on the level of the area where you've got your trailer parked. Once that's satisfied with its position, you'll see the rear stabilizers and levelers are going to come down. Once those are down, it's going to go through a sequence. It's going to make minor adjustments to make sure we have our setup perfectly level.Now, as it's going through the leveling process, you'll see our little green light here. It's going to flash. Once everything's set, that'll turn solid. Now, if you're using the touchpad inside, or if you're using your cell phone, then that's going to indicate on there success level. Now once we're done for the weekend or for the week and we're ready to leave, you just hit that auto hitch mode. You can see our jack's going to deploy, start retracting all of our stabilizers. Something else really nice about the setup is that we've already got a nice wide footpad there. It's drastically going to reduce the amount of sinking that we're going to see from our trailer.
