One Life to Live 2/22/1991

Megan oversleeps, so Hunter makes her breakfast in bed. Hunter tells Megan once shooting wraps, he’s headed to Los Angeles to edit the film, and he’d like Megan to move back west with him. Megan says she wishes she could, but she isn’t ready to leave Llanview yet. Asa bursts into Clint’s office, fuming over the photos and headline Dorian has run in today’s Intruder. As Renee tries to calm both men down, Kevin arrives also carrying a copy of Dorian’s paper. Jake stops in to see Viki. He’s there for a debrief, but Viki jumps right in, asking Jake to teach her how to use a gun. She then recounts the previous evening’s events. Viki still doesn’t know what Carlo’s plan is, but Jake has an idea: if he has Niki Smith kill Megan, he gets revenge on Niki, Viki, and Jake all in one fell swoop. Knowing this is most likely his plan, Viki is determined to redouble her efforts to learn how to use the gun and to stop Carlo.

Asa asks Andy whether Dorian arrived with a photographer last night or if she called one once she saw Niki. Andy says she called the photographer. Asa convinces the man Dorian is set to meet with over lunch to skip the meeting. When Dorian arrives for her lunch, she is surprised to find Asa there instead. Kevin and Lisa bring Niki flowers. Kevin apologizes for being so mean to Niki and says he’d like to be her friend. Megan visits Sarah’s grave. She starts telling her sister about her dilemma, whether to follow Hunter to California or to hang onto hope about Jake. Evidently Bo had the same idea, because he shows up at the cemetery to talk to his late wife. Bo says he’ll never find another Sarah, but Megan is sure he’ll find someone to love and appreciate him. Meanwhile, at Andy’s Place, Hunter tells Jake that Megan will be free from all danger in about a week, because she’s hopefully leaving town with him. Jake is none too thrilled by this turn of events.
