Living With 'ADI TRIBE' Of Arunachal Pradesh In PASIGHAT |

Описание к видео Living With 'ADI TRIBE' Of Arunachal Pradesh In PASIGHAT |

Welcome to the 3rd Episode of my #UnseenArunachal series. In this episode, I am taking you all to LEDUM, a village near Pasighat town in Arunachal Pradesh. Established in the year 1911, Pasighat is also the oldest town in Arunachal Pradesh. The famous bollywood movie 'Rangoon' was filmed in Pasighat. In this episode, I am taking you inside the house of 'Adi Tribe'. We will get to see their traditional style of cooking and also we would be getting our hands on their local drink.

When it comes to NorthEast India, most of the parts are still untouched and that's what make this part of India so appealing. When it comes to tourism, Arunachal Pradesh which is also said to be the Land Of Rising Sun, is still very much untouched in comparison to the other 6 Sister States of NorthEast India. Rolling hills, vast open green lands, beautiful Siang River, the forest area together makes Pasighat and nearby villages must-visit places while your trip to Arunachal Pradesh. This state is biggest among the seven sister states and yet least populated which provides a peaceful respite for the traveller.

There are in total 26 tribes and 100 sub-tribes in Arunachal Pradesh. The Adi Tribe are believed to have come in 16th century from Southern China. What is even more interesting about Adi Tribe is they have many sub-tribes and each of them differ from one another. Arunachal Pradesh is one state in India that is dominated by villages and unknown tribal communities. Reaching these remote places is never easy. It is always advised that you take help of a local tour operator that can help you get the permits and also be your guide as you explore these hidden places. I travelled across East Arunachal Pradesh with 'HOLIDAY SCOUT'. You can contact them if case you would like to take the same or customised trip. I promise, they are the best in the region when it comes to the service :)
