雞半隻（可另加雞髀一隻）- half a chicken (additional chicken leg optional)
紅洋蔥半個 - half a red onion

蒜頭5個 - 5 cloves of garlic
蔥3棵 - 3 stalks of green onion
芫荽5棵 - 5 stalks of coriander
中國芹2條 - 2 stalks of Chinese celery
花椒粒3茶匙 - 3tsp of Sichuan pepper
八角2個 - 2 star anise
乾辣椒10條 - 10 dried chilli pepper
薑8片 - 8 slices of ginger
麻辣醬1湯匙 - 1tbsp of Mala spicy sauce
花椒油2茶匙 - 2tsp of Sichuan pepper sauce
海鮮醬3湯匙 - 3tbsp of Hoi Sin sauce
柱候醬3湯匙 - 3tbsp of Chu Hou paste
黃豆醬1湯匙 - 1tbsp of yellow bean paste
蠔油1湯匙 - 1tbsp of oyster sauce
麻油1茶匙 -1tsp of sesame oil
紹興酒少許 - small dash of Chinese cooking wine
糖1茶匙 - 1tsp of sugar
辣椒仔5條(隨意) - 5 red chillis (optional)
