The gospel of Jesus Christ is not only the gateway to eternal life; it is also the defining reality of the Christian life. After reflecting on the current state of his own circumstances, the Apostle Paul turns his attention in Philippians 1:27–28 to the spiritual state of the Philippian believers. In all things, Paul argues, Christians are called to live in a manner that is worthy of the gospel of Jesus Christ. In this lesson, Dr. Lawson examines this claim and explores what it means for believers today to live in a way that constantly displays the gospel to the world.
