Undermain Archives Madame Bovary - 2020

Gustave Flaubert's Madame Bovary in a new adaption by seminal American playwright Adrienne Kennedy was the last Undermain Theatre production before everything was shut down because of the Covid-19 pandemic. In fact the final Sunday matinee performance was cancelled because of the shut down. 

This ambitious production featured an enormous (for our space) cast with Stephanie Cleghorn Jasso in the title role and Rhonda Boutté, Jim Jorgensen, Jamal Sterling, Brandon J. Murphy, Brandon Whitlock, Charlotte Akin, Omar Padilla, Dakota Ratliff, Amber Rossi, Benjamin Bratcher, and Danny Lovelle.

It was directed by Producing Artistic Director Bruce DuBose and designed by Russell Parkman (Scenery), Amanda Capshaw (Costumes), Justin Locklear (Sound), Steve Woods (Lighting), Danielle Georgiou (Choreography) and Amy Poe (Properties)
