だけあって/ だけのことはあって is used when stating something that naturally occurs or is conjectured as an appropriate result from a certain reason or cause. It is used when you want to evaluate that something is "B" as one would generally imagine from "A."
Mainly, part A includes words that express status, occupation, words that express experience and effort. Part B includes the speaker's judgment and evaluation of those words. It is especially used when praising something (or someone). It cannot be used for future tense, intentions, orders, or conjectures.
