'Nam Ngiao Pa Nuan' Restaurant in Chiang Rai, Thailand is undoubtedly the new 'best place to have Nam Ngiao noodles' in Thailand. Nothing but respect and gratitude to my friend Bank for being just SUCH a go-to guy for recommendations on food, and travel, and also just being such a wonderfully funny and knowledgeable dude along the way :) This has been a great trip with both Bank and Rimma, and we are very lucky to be welcoming YOU back for today's video as well!!

This dish is just packed with curry flavor, almost on the level of citrusy-tangy sometimes, while at other times just alive with throat-scorching fire! The local chilies set it off nicely, pairing with the massive umami dose of scorched tomatoes (our friend Hanuman ‪@Thaifoodmaster‬ taught us about this dish very well!). A great place to have it right here in downtown Chiang Rai - order a normal size pork noodle for 40 baht, or make it super-size at 50 baht. Buffalo skin 'Nang Pong' on the side, and DO NOT forget to grab a pyramid of banana leaf when you see it - full of 'Kaaow Gan Jin,' another one of Northern Thailand's finest foods...
