Gw2 | Qadim CM | (EoD) Power Weaver (Weave Self)

Описание к видео Gw2 | Qadim CM | (EoD) Power Weaver (Weave Self)

This video was recorded when End of Dragons (EoD) was the latest expansion. The currently up-to-date build requires Weaponmaster Training from Secrets of the Obscure (SotO) to be able to equip an offhand Warhorn. However, this non-SotO build can still be played. Remember to add a relic though!

Your task:

Depending on the strategy, you might have to go into lamp 3. Stay at the platform on which you fought against the Destroyer before and go to the edge next to its old stacking location. In the lamp, always take the path with the easier enemies; if you're unsure, follow the others, as there's usually at least 1 player knowing where to go.

In CM, 1-shot-fireballs go around the arena during the legendary adds. If you don't get Aegis for it or if it can be stripped, make sure to dodge it.

Comments & Strategy:

Since we have a Spellbreaker, we skip the stability pyre and only do the protection pyre; however, they took quite long before casting Winds of Disenchantment, which resulted in a lot of our cc going into the stability stacks and therefore failing Qadim's first cc (1:38). This also caused me not to complete my Weave Self, as instead of attuning to water I swapped to Air to cc. At Qadim's 2nd cc, we were aware of that and waited for the boonstrip before cc'ing. It'd be better for Winds of Disenchantment to be cast earlier though.

Since we only did one pyre, we were able to do our usual non-CM strategy: After killing the hydra or the destroyer, three adds spawn on the main platform. For the boss phase, only the Magma Elemental in front of the stability pyre can be dangerous if ignored. Therefore, we wait on the Elemental's spawn while our Mesmer places a portal to the protection pyre. We can attack Qadim for a bit before taking the open portal, bursting the pyre and porting back to Qadim.
However, since we missed the cc on the Destroyer at 3:05, adds spawned at our Kiter which eventually downed them, so instead of staying with the stack I went to help them. I was too slow though, but then decided to stay there and start attacking the pyre with the others who were already there as well.

At 5:17, I went to open the lamp, as I had just enough time to do so before the Patriarch would start his cc after his next wing attack. If the lamp had been slower, it would have been better to stay for the cc first and open the lamp afterwards.

We then (around 5:34) phased the Patriarch to 75%, so I went to the Matriarch instead; you only need to deal 20% to the Hydra and the Destroyer, but 25% to each Wyvern, before the lamp's add finishes them.

At 5:58, our Kiter got downed due to the CM 1-shot-fireball mechanic and I turned around to help them, but 2 players just got ported to them from the Matriarch's hitbox, so I turned around again and went back to the Matriarch.

At 6:08, our Tank got downed due to the CM 1-shot-fireball mechanic as well, so I took over tanking, which granted my squad time to rezz the tank.
