If you create a vlog, I know it's tempting to use a piece of music you've found on youtube that's labelled as: free background music for vlogs or copyright free music for vlogs , I've been there myself and believe me I regret it and I've lost a lot of money because of it! You may not get a copyright strike on your channel BUT you will end up with a notification that someone else (the person who made the background music ) has put adverts onto the start of your video and they're making the money from your video. So this i VERY bad for 2 reasons. Number 1: having adverts on your video will lose you a lot of views, so unless you are making money from them you're losing views for no reason. And number 2: If your vlog or channel blows up and you start getting a lot of views you will not be able to put your own adverts on your videos to make money because you don't own a licence to the background music. You will never get given a licence when using free background music for vlogs . So now there's 2 options.
