Madrid Metro all the lines Compilation

Описание к видео Madrid Metro all the lines Compilation

The Madrid metro is the biggest metro system in Spain with a total of 13 lines and 293 kilometers of track. The first line opened in 1919 making it the one of the oldest systems in the world. There are 2 different types of trains. The smaller, narrower, and shorter trains that run on lines 1 - 5 and R. And also the bigger trains that run on lines 6 - 12. The entire fleet is relatively modern with the oldest trains being from 1985. The ticket costs 1.50€ which is normal for one ride in the main zone (zone A) in Europe. It is also very interesting because there are some historic metro places that you can visit with an appointment and there's also a merch store where you can buy Metro branded things. If you ever find yourself in a Madrid metro station and you're in the mood to read a book check if there is a bibliometro at your station or a nearby one. This is a free library where you can go to read classic Spanish literature in your spare time. This metro is an amazing way to get around the city and it is truly one of my favourites. I hope you enjoy my video :)
