Manitou Springs is a little town in the foothill area of Pikes Peak. Manitou Springs was founded in 1872 and it became famous for its mineral spring water. A major attraction is the old Cog Train taking you up the the top of Pike's Peak. You have you make a reservation if you like to get a seat on the train.
