Idiot Proof Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies

Good afternoon my fellow Idiots. We've got a shorter episode today. I was craving something minty and chocolatey, and if you've been watching my channel for a while you'd know that mint chocolate is my favourite flavour of all time. So I've made some mint chocolate chip cookies for today's episode. These are so simple to make, and rich and delicious with that mint chocolate taste.

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup melted butter (salted butter)
if using unsalted butter add in 1/2 tsp of kosher salt
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp peppermint extract
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tsp green food colour
