How to make a proper Mai Tai, the king of tiki drinks.

In this video we are going Tiki! And if you are ever going to only know how to make one tiki drink, it's got to be the Mai Tai. A lot variations of this drink exist to day, but it owes its origins to the beginning of the tiki era. We aren't messing with pineapple juice and orange juice and grenadine to day. This classic Tiki drink is packed with booze. Aged rum and dark rum, curaçao and orgeat and fresh lime mix perfectly over crushed ice just the way it was intended and it's perfect for warm weather. - or anytime really.

A small error at 4:06 (still getting the hang of this) in the ingredients, I mention 1/2 ounce of orgeat, however I forgot to add the "1/" it in the video so it reads 2 oz. of orgeat. --- DO NOT USE 2oz. of orgeat!! -- Unless you really want t, but I don't recommend.

MAI TAI RECIPE 3:50
2 oz. (60 ml) Rum
1/2 oz. (30 ml) Curacao
1/2 oz (30 ml) Orgeat
1/4 oz. (15 ml))Rich Simple (2:1 sugar to water)
1 oz. (30 ml) Lime Juice
Mint and lime shell garnish.
