Napoleonic French in (Mostly) Contrast for The Silver Bayonet [How I Paint Things]

The uniforms of the Napleonic period have a particular hold on most painters. There comes a time when you find yourself poring over colour plates, guides and paintings, thinking just how an entire army arrayed on the tabletop with such bright, striking uniforms would look. Getting started can be pretty daunting, though! Where to even begin?!

Luckily, The Silver Bayonet gives an easy way in. With just a handful of miniatures involved in each force for the tabletop, you can take a swing and experiment a little with some of the armies involved - and once you've painted your line infantry and a couple of hangers-on, you get to paint werewolves, ghouls and vampires for them to do battle against!
