Sims 1 vs Sims 2 vs Sims 3 vs Sims 4 - Fighting

The Sims 1
When the relationship bar between two Sims is low enough, they can begin fighting. They can insult each other with shake fist, or they can poke the other sim. Another more physical negative social interaction is: attack.
They can shove, slap, slap fight or start a a full on fistfight.
In The Sims 1, when a sim loses a fight, they may leave the neighborhood forever and cannot be brought back.

The Sims 2
In The Sims 2, when two Sims dislike each other enough they can even become enemies. Most negative social interaction is - fight. They can shove, slap, poke or attack. They can also irritate the other sim by throwing a drink in their face. When a fight breaks out in The Sims 2, almost every sim nearby will come to watch the fight.

The Sims 3

In The Sims 3, if the relationship bar between two Sims is low enough, they can become arch enemies. Most negative social interaction is - fight
they can yell at, slap or start a full on fistfight. Sims with the proper Proper etiquette trait will have a "slap with glove" interaction.
The outcome of a fight is determined by many factors. When a fight breaks out in The Sims 3, some of the nearby sims will come to watch the fight. Their reactions to the fight will be based on their personality

Sims 4
In The Sims 4, like in the previous Sims games, fights can be started by Sims who have a very negative relationship with someone.
They can also become enemies. Like in the Sims 2, you can also throw a drink in someone's face. More physical negative social interactions are shove and fight.
If a fight is happening near other Sims, they will come to witness it.
