GÖÇEK, TURKEY. The hidden pearl of Turkey.

Gocek is a city, but rather an elite settlement for yachts and their owners (six ports), which I fell in love with from the first breath.
I actually very rarely have such a cool synergy with a place.
Gocek is worth visiting for the sake of the atmosphere, landscapes, contemplation of another life. For the sake of yachts and islands, for the sake of splashing water a meter away from you when you drink coffee in a comfortable chair.
Gocek is not about mass tourism. Here they take not quantity but quality. Here no one bothers you on the street shouting after you "hello beauty", no one drags you to their store or restaurant. Gocek is about a higher level of recreation and not about tourism.
The city is located in a natural bay, so there are no beaches available here. In the city itself, I found as many as one beach with a paid entrance (50 euros), and then during the pandemic the beach works only for guests of D-Resort. The rest can be reached by sea by taxi.
Gocek is about water transport, incredible scenery, fish restaurants and two-story villas (higher buildings are prohibited by law here). It's about the eternal smell of pine needles, the greenery of trees and almost the inviolability of nature.
The place is definitely mine and I definitely want to come back here with a completely different budget for vacation.
