Stunning LAKE OHRID, North MACEDONIA : Motorhome Adventure Europe

Beautiful Lake OHRID -Best lake in the Balkans? We find a quiet park up for the night near OHRID town and just watch the changing weather and life go by, with beautiful views of Samuel’s Fortress, which we explore on foot from the City Park.
Take a meandering walk through the old town and down to the main square and marina, and get a surprise ring side view of Macedonias finest military wares. Before taking the coastal paths and seeing the well known St.John’s, Byzantine church overlooking the serene lake. But we did spot a more modern mini submarine too !

Hello and Welcome...We are Martin and Eileen, a couple from the UK, meandering around Europe in our 21 year old motorhome called Walter.
In 2022 we took a long term sabbatical and set off on our adventures travelling Europe and beyond ….
We have already explored some of Scotland and the Islands, Western Europe and Morocco, experiencing so many different and amazing views and sunsets. Last year we travelled through Romania and Bulgaria and into Greece. We are currently enjoying Albania after spending the winter in Turkey, before heading into the rest of Europe. Well that’s the current plan anyway! Our mantra is no definite plan .. absolutely free ….
