Ingredients: (1 Cup = 200 ml)

Filling:
1 + ¼ Cup Soft Dates (200 gms)
(little lesser than) ½ Cup (40 gms) Chopped Walnuts

For the Dough:
½ Cup (100 gms) Salted Butter (if You are using unsalted butter, add a pinch of salt)
1 Cup – 1 Tbsp (65 gms) Powder Sugar (you can make powder from grain sugar too and then use)
1 Medium Size Egg (Keep aside 1 tbsp for the Egg Wash)
1 + ½ Cup (210 gms) Maida/ All Purpose Flour
1/8 Tsp (a pinch) Baking Powder

Bake at 170 Degrees Centigrade for 15 to 18 minutes, till slight golden colour on top. Do keep a watch after 10 minutes. Place in middle Rack of oven with both the heating elements on.
Once cooled after baking store in Air Tight container. Remains good for 2 weeks at Room Temperature
