D306-48 Fully Engulfed House Fire - Burbank CA

An elderly man & woman were able to escape from their burning home with minor injuries. The home in Burbank, California went up in flames overnight while the couple was sleeping. Burbank police officers arrived on scene before the fire department and helped evacuate the residents and neighbors from the homes. Shortly there afterwards the Burbank Fire Department arrived on scene to fight the towering fire and flames. Burbank firefighters used water hose lines from their fire engines and water hydrants to fight this raging house fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
