Running the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon 2024. Pacing

Описание к видео Running the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon 2024. Pacing

I've been a bit busy recently and haven't had time to get my editing done! However, when I heard of the sad death of Rob Burrow CBE on Sunday then I knew I had to get this video edited so I could release it on the 7th. The number 7 has, and will continue to be a symbol of remembrance for the legend that was Rob Burrow, but also for friendship, for strength, for courage and for determination.

This race is a really special one. The route is awesome, although tough! The first half is undulating, there's a big long hill ~mile 17 - mile 20, but the final 3 miles are super easy all being flat and downhill... Although with that many miles in your legs it might not feel too easy! This is only the second year that this race has been held and the support that the people of Leeds have given us runners has been unbelievable. From Headingley and West Park, out to Pool and Otley, the support lining the streets with cheering, hosepipes, sweets and more has really warmed my heart and reminded me why I love living in Yorkshire.

This video tells the story of pacing 5:30 at the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon while volunteering for Northern Pacing Volunteers.
