Group Dynamics: How do groups develop and become cohesive?

This is the fifth lecture in a series of senior level undergraduate lectures on group dynamics that I created and have been teaching for many years. All groups go through a predictable set of developmental stages as they work towards a level of cohesion. We'll explore these developmental stages and look at how groups transition from one stage to another. We'll also look at how cohesion is used as a health indicator for a group and what types of things contribute to building healthy cohesion in the groups we're a part of.
