Warriors (Warrior Cats) is a series of novels based on the adventures and drama of multiple Clans of feral cats created by Victoria "Vicky" Holmes. The series is primarily set in a fictional forest, and later by a lake, in which fights and disputes over territory often occur between the groups: ThunderClan, ShadowClan, RiverClan, WindClan, and SkyClan as well as StarClan, the Dark Forest (The Place of No Stars), and BloodClan. Published by HarperCollins and edited by Working Partners (now owned by Coolabi), Warriors is written by authors Kate Cary and Cherith Baldry, as well as others, under the collective pseudonym Erin Hunter. Tui T. Sutherland, another writer for the series, also went on to create the Wings of Fire novels and manga.
