Repotting My Largest Catasetum Orchid | Late Dormancy & Deformed Blooms - Millennium Magic

Hey all! In today’s video, I’m going to be repotting my Monnierara Millennium Magic ‘Witchcraft’. It’s one of my largest Catasetums. It grows extremely well, but doesn’t like to play by any rules. This went dormant in the spring instead of the winter, and while it was growing over the summer, it pushed out a second bulb!

I was happy to see this bloom twice in the last 6 months, but the first set of blooms were wonky - the second set of blooms were much better. I’ll walk you through how I repot this orchid and the nuances I’ve learned growing it.
