Friends, in honor of Australia day coming up tomorrow, I'm whipping up another flavorful fish recipe for you all today. This time it's my flavorful fish burgers, an epic recipe that combines the goodness of a burger with a healthy fish filling. I'll also be showing you how to whip up a mayo-like yoghurt sauce, and how I like to stack my burger. Hope you enjoy!

Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 lb fresh cod fillets (can also use tilapia)
1 egg
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp cumin
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp lemon juice
Zest of one lemon
1 TB olive oil
1 TB miso paste
1 tsp chopped cilantro
¼ cup almond flour

To serve:
4 whole grain buns or 4 slices gluten-free bread
Whole milk or Greek yoghurt to drizzle
Freshly chopped cilantro
Lemon wedges
Freshly torn romaine leaves

Method:
1. Roughly chop cod fillets on a cutting board
2. Place chopped cod and all other burger ingredients in a bowl. Mix well to combine.
3. Heat a pan over medium-low heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Form fish mixture into patties with your hands. Once oil is hot, sear the patties for 2-3 minutes per side until fully cooked through. Remove from pan.
4. Serve with buns or toasted bread, a drizzle of yoghurt, chopped cilantro, a squeeze of lemon, and torn romaine.
