Captivenia is arguably the most amazing camp experience available to Catholic girls. Following a thrilling storyline, girls embark on epic forest missions, tackle obstacle courses, create medieval crafts, learn the skill of bow and arrow, and so much more! They dive deep into the beautiful mystery of the Catholic faith through the celebration of the Sacraments and attending inspiring formation talks.

I have had the incredible privilege of being part of the core team since its founding in 2011, and have been involved in everything from designing promo materials, acting as the character Princess Genevé, sewing costumes, and even directing theatrics. This camp has deeply impacted my life and is very close to my heart.

This painting is based off a scene from Captivenia 2018 and features my gorgeous and super talented friend (and cousin-in-law) Emily, who plays the character Princess Illyria.

For every print of “Light Bearer” sold, 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Captivenia.
