Karst de Jong and Bert Mooiman play improvised variations on Chopin's prelude op.28 no 20 in C minor. This 8 bar prelude is one of the most beautiful themes of Chopin with its chorale like character and offers infinite possibilities as a ground bass for improvisation. The recording was made during a live concert at the YST Conservatory of Music (NUS Singapore) on 12 September 2024.
