Jesus tells us that He is the Vine and we are the branches. To stay part of the tree we must CLING onto Him! Without Jesus, there is no point in anything, everything is futile if we aren't clinging to Jesus. I used to feel so empty and tired because I didn't make it a habit to call on God each and every day I woke up. I spent time eating whatever I wanted, doing whatever I wanted, yet I'd cry and say "God, where are You?" He was there the whole time. Jesus was there every second, I just wasn't allowing Him to get to me.
