In this episode of Behind the Glass With a Glass, I'm shoving my pictures in your face, telling you about the Mamiya C220 TLR, sharing a cool artwork mock-up tool, and taking viewer questions...all while sipping some Glenmorangie 10-Year Scotch Whisky.

I've never been that into scotch, because, you see, I'm a patriot. I drink bourbon, while riding a bison and shooting my gun in the air. And this American palette prefers an American whisky. The peaty flavor of many scotches never sit well with me. And because I'm a dumb American, I thought all scotch whisky's had that peat flavor. If I'm honest, I thought that's what made scotch scotch.

Enter Glenmorangie - the first scotch I've ever tried that doesn't taste like burning soil. And it turns out this isn't the only non-peaty scotch out there. Turns out not all scotches use peat in the distilling process. I've learned a lot since this spirit first hit my tongue, and I'm now happy to say that I enjoy a good scotch...so long as it's been aged in bourbon barrels and it doesn't taste like scotch.

So that's what I'm sipping today. But let's talk photography.

The Mamiya C220 is a fantastic camera. Every time I use it, I fall more deeply in love with it. It's a solid, beautifully designed, all-mechanical TLR that makes me want to shoot more 6x6 square format. It's just a joy to use. And in this video I'll share some new photos I took with this camera in Buellton, California.
