In this tutorial, I have discussed the resource grid in LTE in detail. I have provided in-depth explanation on resource blocks, resource elements, how resources are allocated for transferring data, how a resource or signal can be viewed in time and frequency domain, what are subcarriers/OFDM symbols etc. I have also explained a very important concept which is the Antenna Ports, how antenna port are defined in LTE, what are physical and virtual antenna ports and how it relates to the data transfer methods in LTE.
