TAGORE IN SYMPHONY, PART - 1, CONDUCTOR&COMPOSER - MAESTRO ABRAHAM MAZUMDER

ABRAHAM MAZUMDER has taken attempts to spread Western Classical Music through some novel concert projects from 2007. One of the project entitled 'Tagore in Symphony' has featured the immortal songs of Rabindranath Tagore in proper classical arrangements, incorporating the music of Great European Masters like Mozart, Bach, Purcell, Beethoven, Dvorak, and Tchaikovsky. The concerts in Bangalore and Kolkata(Science City Auditorium) featuring notable artists from the Bengali traditions and AMA
Orchestra (accumulated musicians from all over the country) were received great appreciation from musicians and listeners alike for the avant-garde arrangements, interpretation and performance. In April 2012 MAESTRO MAZUMDER was invited by MUNICH PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA, GERMANY to conduct 'Tagore in Symphony' along with compositions by Great Masters of European Classical Music with their Philharmonic orchestra and performed in their festival.
