Hello, my name is Charlotte, I’m from France. I am a semester 1 student at Glion Institute of Higher Education in their Bachelor’s program in International Hospitality Business. Before, I was at Jeanne D’Arc - Saint Aspais high school in Fontainebleau, France.

For the moment, my overall experience at Glion is great. It was exactly what I wanted it when I decided to study hospitality. I also appreciated the fact that the first year was all about Practical Arts, which is really amazing to discover all the jobs about hospitality, around the hospitality industry.

The similarities I can find between my high school in France and Glion is that it is a small school. You have this family atmosphere, you know the teachers and they know you, as well your strengths and weaknesses, which is great.

If I could give any advice to high school students, it’s to just follow their dream and their dream job. This is I think the most important thing. That’s what I did with Glion because I knew I wanted to study hospitality. I did everything in my power to get to know new people from the industry, to get to know the schools, especially Glion. I joined all the workshops so, if you have the power to do this, just go and meet people that do this job or are in the industry, go to Open Days. I think that’s the best advice for everyone.
