Trains at Sheffield - 14/12/2021

Filmed on 14/12/2021. This is it, the final trainspotting session of 2021 and what has been a truly epic year. The city which is home of true grit and Steel, yes this is the Steel City Of Sheffield (Season 8 Episode 48)

As the sun sets, we reflect on the year and indeed the highlights of 2021 of many ups and some down moments and exploring brand new places and territory to see and do. Despite the start of the year which began in lockdown, things has moved onwards and upwards.

At Sheffield, we see more of some ex Newton Heath depot based class 150/2 which has been transferred to South Yorkshire diagrams and services. To be used mostly on Northern stopping services prior to the now retired Pacer fleet replacements. Since the December timetable changes has been in place, Northern has bought back their hourly fast services linking Leeds through to Lincoln Central rather than on the Lincoln to Sheffield shuttle services.

A few problems for Transpennine Express; As with many rail operators, some of the train services has been cancelled due to the current situation with the 'C' as some of the train crews are not available for certain services. Just would like to say to wish the train crews a full recovery and staying safe.
