Another addition to the fleet of retired bus videos uploaded to this channel, this time, the 2002-2004 Orion VII Hybrids.

Out of the Orion VII OG Hybrid fleet that's being retired, these are the ones I'll miss the most. These were some of the more problematic hybrids in the fleet at first, but they became better over time.

These fleet of buses were primarily in Manhattan(Amsterdam before it closed, Mother Clara Hale before it closed & Manhattanville) and Queens(Queens Village Depot). These have shown up on other routes in the five boroughs due to snow related service patterns.

These buses have even shown up on Staten Island, as two were loaned to the island prior to the arrival of the 2008 Orion VII Next Generation Hybrids, as they were used to determine how feasible hybrids would be on the island.

What you'll see here are is roughly 40 minutes of clips of this fleet of hybrids in service with an interior video as well. There were some clips that were omitted from this compilation. These buses were powered by a Cummins ISB engine with the BAE Systems HybriDrive.
