3 of these Instant Idlis use a form of rice that need not be soaked.
So you have an Instant Poha Idli, an Instant Murmura Idli, an Instant leftover rice idli too!
The 4th idli is a rava idli which is loaded with flavours and veggies.
And the 5th idli is a very healthy Quinoa Idli!

Recipe :
Rava Idli
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 3-4

Ingredients:
1 cup rava
1 cup curd
2 tbsp oil
10 cashew, halves
1 tsp mustard
½ tbsp urad dal
½ tbsp chana dal
few curry leaves
2 chilli, finely chopped
1 inch ginger, grated
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp carrot, chopped
2 tbsp beans, chopped
1 tsp eno fruit salt

Method:
Take rava, curd, ½ cup water in a bowl and mix well. Rest for 5 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves and allow to splutter.
Add chilli, ginger, and sauté slightly. Add cashew nuts.
After rava has soaked well, add the tempering to the batter. Mix well.
Add eno fruit salt and mix.
Place cashew in a greased idli plate and pour the batter.
Steam for 15 minutes. Serve.


Poha Idli
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 3-4

Ingredients:
1 cup poha
1 cup curd
1 cup rava
1 tsp salt
2 cup water, as required
1 tsp eno fruit salt

Method:
Grind poha to a coarse powder.
Add curd, rava, salt and 1 cup water.
Mix well making sure everything is well combined adding water as required.
Rest for 10 minutes or until rava and poha absorb water.
Mix well adjusting consistency, if required.
Add Eno and mix gently.
Pour batter into greased idli plate.
Steam idli for 15 minutes or until idli is cooked well.


Murmura Idli
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 3-4

Ingredients:
1½ cup murmura
1 cup rava
1 tsp salt
1 cup curd
1tsp eno fruit salt

Method:
Wash the murmura.
Grind the with the curd, rava, salt and 1 cup water.
Rest for 10 minutes.
Add Eno and mix gently.
Pour batter into greased idli plate.
Steam idli for 15 minutes or until idli is cooked well.


Leftover Rice Idli
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 3-4

Ingredients:
1½ cup cooked rice, leftover
1 cup rava
1 cup curd
1 tsp salt
1 tsp eno fruit salt

Method:
Take 1½ cup cooked rice and add 1 cup water in a blender and blend to smooth paste.
Transfer rice batter to a large bowl and add rava, curd, salt and mix well.
Cover and rest for 10 minutes.
Add water as required to adjust the consistency of batter.
Add eno fruit salt and mix gently.
Now pour the idli batter into the greased plate.
Steam idli on a medium flame for 12 minutes.

Quinoa idli
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 3-4

Ingredients:
1 cup Quinoa
1 cup Rava
1 cup Sour curd
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Eno Fruit Salt

Method:
Take Quinoa and grind to a fine powder.
Add rava, curd, salt, water and mix well. Rest for 10 minutes.
Add water to adjust consistency.
Add Eno fruit salt and mix well.
Pour in greased idli plate and steam it for 10 minutes.
Serve.
