Besan ke Laddu
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Serves: 3-4

Ingredients:
250g Roasted gram (without skin)
150g Desi Ghee
250g Powdered sugar
1 tsp cardamom powder
cashew nuts

Method:
Grind the roasted gram to a fine powder. Pass through a sieve to get a fine powder.
Melt the ghee in a pan. add the roasted chana powder. Mix well. Remove from heat. Add the powdered sugar and mix well. Add cardamom powder and mix. Make lemon sized balls of the mixture. Allow to rest for a while for the ghee to set. Serve.

Motichoor Laddu
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Serves: 3-4

Ingredients:
1 cup besan
4 tbsp ghee
1 cup sugar
¾ cup water
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
1 pinch orange food colour
Watermelon seeds
Sliced pistachio

Method:
Cook the sugar with ¾ cup water to make a syrup of 1 string consistency.
Add ¾ cup water to the besan and mix to make a smooth lump free batter.
Heat ghee in a pan. Pour strips of the batter into the pan and cook till lightly coloured. Flip and cook on the other side too. Prepare strips with all the batter.
Cool the strips and run in the mixer to make a coarse powder.
Add the powder to the syrup, cover and rest for a few minutes. Add the melon seeds and bind the laddus.

Rava laddu
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Serves: 3-4

Ingredients:
¼ cup ghee
1½ cup rava / semolina / suji, coarse
½ cup desiccated coconut
1½ cup sugar
½ cup water
¼ tsp cardamom powder
2 tbsp cashew, halves
2 tbsp raisins

Method:
Cook the sugar with water to make a syrup of 1 string consistency.
Lightly roast the rava with the ghee till fragrant and lightly coloured. Add the coconut, cardamom powder, raisins, cashew and mix.
Remove from heat. Add the syrup to the pan. mix well. Shape into laddus.
