Kayos or Namo is a wild root crop usually found in a mountainous area. The process is tedious to make it safe to eat, it will take six or seven days preparation before totally safe for human consumption since its poisonous. Salted thin chips are cleansed in the river over night it can be also soak on the sea to get rid of toxins and after soaking the chips lastly sun dried for three days.

Hi mga Kanayon Namo po ang tawag namin nito dito saming probinsya, nung na bubuhay pa ang aking Lola tuwing panahon ng tag ulan at hirap ang pamumuhay dahil madalas din tamaan ng bagyo ang aming lugar malaking tulong ang meron kaming Namo dahil ito ang nag sisilbing kanin nmin dahil mabilis ito maka busog. Tamang proseso lamang ang kailangan para ma tangal ang nakaka lasong nitong dagta.
