The thief, felt something shift inside him and felt a pang of guilt for his intentions. Instead of taking anything, he reached into his own pockets, pulled out the little cash he had, and left it on the table next to the letter. Without a sound, he left the house and disappeared into the night.

As he walked away, he realized that this simple act of kindness had given him a sense of purpose he had never felt before. From that moment on, he committed himself to finding ways to help those in need, leaving behind a life of crime for one of compassion and service.
