70000 Britannia was the first of three steam locomotives to run over the Northern Fells today. It is seen at Paddy's Lane ad Scout Green in charge of the Lakelander.
The slow climb to Shap summit was due being stopped at Tebay due to a Track Circuit failure.
70000 was failed at Carlisle and the rest pf the trip was diesel hauled
