Jan Vantomme: A Modular Approach to Building Interactive Installations - GROW 2018

Jan Vantomme works at nøcomputer, a creative technology lab based in Ghent, Belgium. They explore new forms of interaction to create engaging interactive installations and experiences. Their process involves using code to design art, branded content and generative identities. Lately, they have been using deep learning as a way for people to interact with their installations. Their most famous production is “Play The City”: an Augmented Reality experience designed to celebrate the 60th GRAMMY’s return to New York, for which they have won several awards this year. In short: interactive things for future screens.
