Lyall is very active in the musical community today: concert band master, multi-instrumentalist, teacher and composer, Lyall was also an important member of the seminal Hobart folk-rock band Fern Chutney. His contribution here was distilled from a four-part woodwind arrangement and adapted to the requirements of a monophonic session tune.
