Ingredients

For the filling:

3 chicken breasts (cooked & shredded)

2 tbsp tomato sauce

2 tbsp ricotta cheese (or cheddar, optional)

Oregano to taste

Grated cheese (generous amount, for topping)

For the batter:

1 cup milk (room temperature)

2 eggs

1 beef bouillon cube

1 ½ tbsp oil

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tbsp baking powder

Instructions

Prepare the filling

Cook and shred the chicken breasts.

In a pan, mix chicken with tomato sauce and ricotta cheese until creamy.

Set aside to cool.

Make the batter

In a blender, add milk, eggs, bouillon cube, oil, and flour.

Blend until smooth.

Add baking powder last and blend briefly.

Assemble the pie

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

Grease a baking dish.

Pour half of the batter into the dish, spreading evenly.

Add the chicken filling in an even layer.

Spread ricotta cheese on top of the chicken.

Sprinkle generously with grated cheese.


Pour the remaining batter over the filling, spreading to cover evenly.

Sprinkle oregano on top.

Bake

Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown on top.

Let it rest a few minutes before slicing.

🍴 Serving

Cut into squares or slices and serve warm.

The texture will be creamy inside with a golden, slightly crispy top.•
