Back to Sicily: Day 58. Visit main Post Office and walk to Via Valverde and the Rita Atria School.

Morning at the main Post Office building on Via Roma to exchange some money to Euros for final month in Palermo. The transaction was pretty seamless experience and the exchange rate appeared to be on par with what is reported on the internet, except for the wait, about 50 minutes which was quite tolerable because I brought plenty of reading and writing materials plus just watching the activities inside the cavernous space by the postal workers in their interactions with the customers was quite entertaining for me, and appreciating the architecture of the building inside was plenty of activity to pass the wait time. Walked back to the area of the Atria Rita school on Via Valverde, directly across Via Roma from the front steps of the Post Office building, that I visited on my 2nd or 3rd day here in Palermo two months ago. I remembered how hot the weather was and I was covered in sweat. I was feeling more comfortable today while being equally sunny, but temps are more pleasant and refreshing.
