SEP & SoShip Japan 🇯🇵 | August 21st - September 8th 2023

Beginning from 21st of August to 8th of September in the year 2023, we had welcomed around 93 students from Kwansei-Gakuin University, Tohoku University, Osaka Metropolitan University, Shizuoka University, Soka University, Otaru University of Commerce, and the University of Fukui, all the way from Japan, with open arms to begin their journey in both the Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) and Social Sciences & Humanities Immersion Program (SoShip) organised by the Global Network Club of Universiti Malaya! In this transitory three weeks, meaningful memories were formed as the Japanese followed along the footprints of the local i-Smart buddies, from attending English class to exploring and visiting the historic state of Malacca! May the bonds created within the programmes be strong. Here’s to crossing paths again sometime in the future.

Global Network Club (GNC) is a club under the direct supervision of the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, Universiti Malaya. Our motto ‘Bridging the World’, aligned with the internalisation of the faculty, focuses on building connection with students worldwide.
