Join us while we go on a hunt for cloudberries! One of the rarest fruit in the world also known as the akpik, aqpiit or many other similar terms to other cultures. Not only is it one of the rarest fruit in the world, but it's also one of the cutest fruit in the world.

On my drive up the Dempster Highway to Tuktoyuktuk, I learned that cloudberries exist and are one of the rarest fruits in the world. They need particular conditions, are very delicate, and mainly grow in the Arctic Circle. They are considered a delicacy. When I realized they could be found along the Dempster Highway up to Tuktoyaktuk, I had to go out and hunt for them. I didn't have high hopes of finding any, but we saw some people out in the tundra picking stuff (likely berries), so we went down the road a little further and got lucky right away!
