Hyper Street Fighter 2++ [Arcade] - play as WW Vega

Описание к видео Hyper Street Fighter 2++ [Arcade] - play as WW Vega

This is a play-through using World Warrior Vega in an alternate Arcade version of Hyper Street Fighter 2. Read on below for more information...

This is an alternative version of the Arcade game Hyper Street Fighter 2 which allows the player to select the bosses (Balrog, Vega, Sagat & M.Bison) in 'NORMAL' mode, which is of course the World Warrior versions of them.

In the regular version of the game, the bosses cannot be selected in 'NORMAL' mode (they didn't exist in the game's data anyway).

The creator has made a very accurate version of Vega from The World Warrior with all his trademark hard-hitting basics. What is impressive is that WW Vega didn't exist in this game in the first place, so he literally had to create the data (such as hit properties, animation timings, etc.) from scratch using the game's existing resources. Anyway, here is the additional information on Vega based on my experience:

===== About HSF2++ WW Vega =====

---- Regarding his Barcelona Strike special moves, WW Vega in HSF2++ has the Strike and Suplex as separate moves. The claw Strike is designated to the [LK] button, and the Suplex is designated to the [MK] and [HK] buttons. It is no longer random like it was in SF2:WW.

---- For his Barcelona Strike moves, he climbs the famous invisible fence when not on his Spain background.

---- For his Barcelona Strike moves, when he leaps off the fence, the Strike and Suplex are automatic, meaning the player does not have control over them.

---- Regarding his Barcelona Strike special move, when he leaps off the fence it is the slow leap with the slow descend. He does not have the super-fast leap and super-fast descend.

---- Regarding his Barcelona Strike special move, when he leaps off the fence to do the strike you'll see him do the "hands-together" move at first, then when he is in range of the opponent he'll spread his arms for the strike.

---- His Back Flip seems to only work against SSF2 or SSF2T opponents. Against WW/CE/HF opponents, he just high blocks their moves.

---- Unlike in SF2++, his special moves are charge moves and they need to be charged (unfortunately).

---- He has the WW portrait images on the character select screen, versus screen, winning/losing screen and continue screen.

---- He has the WW Vega icon under his lifebar in-fight, but the background of the icon is transparent. The reason for this may be because the original WW boss icons appeared in SF2:WW with transparent backgrounds in the first place (the icons appear on the map after you have defeated all the regular fighters remember), which means that the icon data may have been carried over in it's original state.

---- This is version (20170619).
