Preparing to ride with one rein, your horse needs to know how lead, flex, back and work on the ground in a rope halter and lead rope. Pay attention to what you do on the ground so you can do it same way when you get in the saddle. One rein is about focus, attention to detail, keeping your body and balance neutral, making sure your hand movement is slow, smooth and independent of the body and seat. Link to part two is blow.

Although I crack on Buddy for being a Pain and messing up, It is NOT his fault, I let him out, I could tie him up or lock him up, so he just being a horse.

Liberal insecure sexist women that have fragile self esteem and egos, DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO OR THIS CHANNEL. I talk about one rein riding and the importance of riding with one rein to help train YOU the rider on how to focus and build confidence in riding and controlling your horse with just ONE rein.

I end up doing a part two this video, I try and ride Mr. T with one rein and Buddy messes up the program but still forces me to control Mr. T with one rein.

If you can ride your horse in a bit then you be able to ride in a halter with one rein. If you can't ride your horse with one rein and a halter then you should not be riding in a bit.

If you are scared or nervous about being able to control a horse with one rein, then you are fooling yourself that you have control over your horse with a bit. It a horse is started properly and been taught to give to pressure (NOT Pain like a bit) then a horse will normally do better in a halter and one rein. With one rein the horse gets clearer and more easy direction than with two reins. One rein prevents the rider from giving confusing direction.

I talk about Mr. T being high horse and Buddy being low horse but Buddy pushes Mr. T on food, why? Just because Mr. T is high horse, it does not mean he has to show buddy who is boss and make everything a fight. High horses allow lower horses to make mistakes and test something without taking it personal and correcting the horse. Just like people need to do, NOT EVERYTHING IS A FIGHT TO SHOW YOU ARE BOSS, it is ok for a horse to crowd, push or test your space, it is not the end of the world and for the idiot Barn Witches and trainers that want to tell you it is dangerous, show the horse who is boss, don't ever let a horse into your space, never let a horse put his lips on you, never...bla bla bla, you should know they are idiots and DO NOT understand horses. If they telling people this, they are only trying to show how smart they are when really they are insecure and scared of horses so they want to push their fears on others. DON'T LISTEN to advice givers about Dangerous horses or what you ALWAYS AND NEVER do, that is a CLUE for you critical thinkers.
